In a world where the unthinkable becomes reality for too many families, Chasin A Dream Foundation is stepping forward with a powerful new initiative. On April 14, 2025, the foundation proudly announced the launch of Mindful Haven, a transformative community and resource center designed to support families navigating life-threatening childhood illnesses, disabilities, and the devastating loss of a child.

A Day of Healing: The Warrior Moms Summit

The program’s inaugural event, the Warrior Moms Summit, was held on April 5, 2025, at the DoubleTree in Palm Beach Gardens. This remarkable gathering brought together mothers of children with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities, as well as grieving mothers who have experienced the profound loss of a child. Through heartfelt talks and expert-led sessions, participants found healing, support, and connection. Featured speakers included Dr. Ken Grey, Terra Brown, Angel and Marc Chernoff, Tara Wells, and Stacy Willett, each sharing wisdom and compassion to empower and uplift attendees.

“When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, or when a child is lost, the world can stop spinning,” said Lori Griffith, founder of Chasin A Dream Foundation. “Mindful Haven was created to meet that moment and to offer connection, compassion, and care for the families too often left to carry the weight of the unimaginable in silence. The Warrior Moms Summit was the first step in what we know will become a truly life-changing program.”

Instead, it leans in—with expert guidance, open arms, and a compassionate community that walks beside families, one step at a time. This initiative embodies the core values of Chasin A Dream Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Jupiter, Florida, that has been a pillar of support for local children battling serious medical conditions since 2017.
